The color workbook
Everything from the tools, your setup and your progress in one place, to export, import or print. It lives only in this browser until you export it.
Browser storage ("localStorage") is convenient and fragile. It is cleared when you clear site data, is empty in private browsing, is not shared between browsers or devices, and can be lost by browser updates or storage limits. Nothing is backed up anywhere. Export after every working session that adds something you would hate to lose, and keep the file with your home papers. The file is plain JSON; it opens in any text editor and can be imported here on any device. Changing your setup answers never erases workbook entries.

Below is a read-only rendering of every section, in course order, for printing or reading through. Edit each section on its own tool page. Empty sections are skipped. Swatches print as small colored squares where your printer allows; the name, code, role, status and notes next to them are the record, and they print in any case.
The workbook records your observations, your provisional choices and your decisions, with their status. A hex value in it is a screen reminder, not a paint specification; the specification is the brand, color name and code, product line and sheen you wrote beside it, and the physical sample you observed. Nothing here is a manufacturer's statement about a product.
